The Knolls Garden Club

We had a great turnout for the first ever assembly of the Knolls Garden Club. We had 10 in attendance for our guest speaker, E.A. Hoppe from the City of Richardson Parks Department. Mr. Hoppe answered all our questions on water conservation efforts by the City, rainwater collection and water-wise gardening.

Here is a list of our lucky winners of door prizes: Anita Sloan-Smith, indoor water conservation kit; Barbara Alice, outdoor water conservation kit; Terri Donati, outdoor moisture sensor; Kelly Selbrede, Soil Moist granules; Steve Neuner and John Alice, $10 gift cards to Calloway's. And of course, we all left with seeds from Anita's house-eating Cosmos plant!
