Inaugural Meeting of The Knolls Garden Club

As we all know by now, Richardson is enforcing Stage 3 water conservation efforts. And as things look right now, we will likely be in Stage 4 as early as April 1. So we're calling all neighbors who would like to learn strategies for water-wise gardening.

We have invited EA Hoppe from the City of Richardson to talk to us about rain water collection and other strategies for allowed water use in landscaping. We'll also talk about acquiring rain barrels and using compost bins. And if you have any seeds or cuttings you'd like to share, bring them along. Anita has some seeds for house-eating Cosmos plants, that are pretty much bullet-proof even in the dead of Summer.
